LastClip is a compact 3D-printed spacer designed to prevent a compatible laptop lid from closing fully during careful movement between rooms. It helps developers keep agents, uploads, renders and other long-running work active without leaving the laptop fixed to one desk.

How it works
  1. Confirm your laptop edge and thickness against the compatibility guidance.
  2. Position LastClip on an approved edge away from the display, hinges, ports and vents.
  3. Move the laptop carefully with two hands while LastClip prevents full lid closure.
  4. Remove LastClip before normal closing, storage or transport in a bag.

Compatibility

Fit and wake behaviour vary by laptop thickness, edge geometry, magnetic lid sensors, power settings and fitted cases. LastClip is not a carrying handle and does not guarantee that every laptop will remain awake.

Use and care

Carry the laptop itself securely with two hands. Never lift or suspend a laptop by LastClip. Keep it away from the display area, hinges, ports and vents, and remove it before storage.
