Shipping, returns & warranty
Last updated: 29 August 2026. This policy applies to physical products purchased from Last Dices in South Africa. It does not limit any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 or other applicable law.
Shipping in South Africa
Standard delivery is charged at a flat rate of R99 per order to a valid South African delivery address. Made-to-order products currently have an estimated delivery window of 1–2 weeks unless a different estimate is shown before payment. Please provide an accurate recipient name, mobile number and delivery address. We will contact you if an order cannot be supplied within the agreed delivery period.
Seven-day online cooling-off right
Where section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act applies, you may cancel an eligible online purchase of goods without reason and without penalty within seven days after receiving the goods. The direct cost of returning the goods may be for your account. If you exercise this statutory right, any refund will be processed within the period required by applicable law.
Personalised and made-to-specification products
The seven-day ECTA cooling-off right does not apply where goods are made to your specifications or are clearly personalised. This may include a custom-printed Tap Sticker or another product that Last Dices has specifically created or materially altered for your individual requirements. A product will only be treated as personalised where it was actually created or altered for you.
This exception does not remove your rights if a personalised product is defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied, materially different from what was agreed, or does not reasonably conform to the specifications of your order.
Defective, unsafe or poor-quality goods
Physical goods are supplied with the statutory implied warranty of quality. If, within six months after delivery, goods fail to meet the quality standards required by the Consumer Protection Act, you may return the qualifying goods without penalty and at our risk and expense. Subject to the Act, you may direct Last Dices to repair or replace the goods, or refund the price paid.
If we repair goods and, within three months after that repair, the original failure is not remedied or a further failure, defect or unsafe feature is discovered, the statutory remedy may require replacement or a refund as provided by law.
Incorrect, incomplete or damaged delivery
If you receive the wrong product, an incomplete order, or goods that appear damaged on delivery, contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We may ask for your order reference and photographs to help resolve the issue quickly. Where the problem is our responsibility or the goods qualify for a statutory return, Last Dices will arrange the return at our risk and expense and provide the remedy required by applicable law.
Compatibility, care and misuse
Product pages include important compatibility and care information. LastClip fit can vary with laptop thickness, hinge design and lid sensors, and standard NFC products may perform poorly when applied directly to metal unless designed for that surface. Statutory defect rights do not generally cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorised alteration, incorrect installation, normal wear and tear, or use contrary to clear product instructions. This does not affect rights relating to an undisclosed defect or a product that was not reasonably fit for an agreed purpose.
How to request a return
- Email support@lastdicesptyltd.co.za from the email address used for your order.
- Include your order reference, the product and the reason for the return.
- If there is a defect or delivery problem, include photographs or a short description where practical.
- Wait for return instructions before sending the product so we can route it correctly.
Do not send passwords, OTPs or payment-card details. We will provide the appropriate return destination and instructions for the specific order.
Refunds
Approved refunds are returned using an appropriate payment method and within the period required by applicable law. PayFast return pages are not proof that an order has been paid or refunded; Last Dices relies on verified payment-provider records. Shipping or return costs will only be deducted where applicable law permits it.
Order cancellation before dispatch
Contact support immediately if you need to cancel before dispatch. For ordinary products we will stop fulfilment where reasonably possible. Special-order or personalised goods may have different cancellation rights once production or personalisation has started. Any statutory cancellation right that applies to your transaction remains unaffected.
