Privacy policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026. This notice explains how LAST DICES PTY LTD processes personal information when you use this website, join a waitlist, create an account, contact support or use an eligible Last Dices service. It supports the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and, where applicable, the GDPR.
1. Responsible party / controller
LAST DICES PTY LTD is the responsible party for personal information it determines the purpose and means of processing. Privacy and data-rights requests can be sent to support@lastdicesptyltd.co.za or submitted through Support.
2. Information we may collect
- Waitlist and contact data: name, email address, optional mobile number, city/province, product interests, free-text feedback and consent records.
- Account data: login identifiers, profile details, verification status and account-security events.
- Support data: messages, attachments and information you provide when requesting assistance.
- Technical data: security logs, browser/device information, approximate region, referral information and data reasonably required to keep services secure and operational.
- Optional analytics: if analytics is configured and you consent, measurement data may be collected as explained in our Cookie Policy.
3. Why we process information
- provide requested waitlist updates and early-access communications;
- create, secure and administer accounts;
- operate eligible Last Dices services and respond to support requests;
- prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents and unlawful use;
- measure website performance where optional analytics consent has been given;
- comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
4. Legal grounds and consent
Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing may be necessary to perform a service you request, comply with law, pursue a legitimate operational or security interest, or rely on your consent. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it prospectively at any time.
5. Direct marketing
We do not treat a site visit as consent to marketing. Waitlist, email or messaging updates are sent only where we have an appropriate permission or other lawful basis. You may unsubscribe or withdraw permission at any time.
6. Cookies and analytics
Necessary storage may be used for security, sessions and privacy choices. Optional analytics is disabled by default and loads only after an affirmative choice. See the Cookie Policy.
7. Service providers and international processing
We may use contracted technology providers for hosting, authentication, forms, analytics, communications and support. Depending on the feature used, providers may include Vercel, Supabase, Tally and Google. Some processing may occur outside South Africa. Where POPIA or the GDPR applies, we use an applicable legal mechanism and require an appropriate level of protection.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, legal obligations, disputes, security records and enforcement. Waitlist records are reviewed periodically and may be deleted or anonymised after prolonged inactivity, withdrawal or when the relevant programme ends.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law and lawful exceptions, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. South African access-to-record requests may also be made under PAIA where applicable.
10. Automated decision-making
The public waitlist does not make a solely automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
11. Children
The public company waitlist is intended for adults aged 18 and older. Product-specific services intended for younger users will use separate age-appropriate notices and safeguards.
12. Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to reduce unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
13. Complaints
Please contact us first at support@lastdicesptyltd.co.za. In South Africa, you may also approach the Information Regulator. Where the GDPR applies, you may have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority.
14. Changes to this notice
We may update this policy when products, vendors, laws or processing activities change. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date.
