Privacy & data-rights requests

Last updated: 11 September 2026. This page explains how to ask Last Dices about personal information we hold and how to exercise rights available under POPIA and, where applicable, the GDPR or other law.

Requests you can make

  • ask whether Last Dices holds personal information about you;
  • request access to eligible personal information;
  • ask us to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion or destruction where the law permits or requires it;
  • object to eligible processing;
  • withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the legal basis;
  • object to or unsubscribe from direct marketing;
  • request restriction or data portability where the GDPR applies and the legal conditions are met; and
  • ask for information about an applicable automated decision process if one is introduced.

How to submit a request

Email support@lastdicesptyltd.co.za with the subject “Privacy rights request”, or start through Support. Tell us which right you want to exercise, what account or interaction the request relates to, and the email/mobile details needed to locate the record.

Identity verification

To prevent disclosure to the wrong person, we may ask for proportionate evidence that you are the data subject or are authorised to act for them. We will not ask you to send your password, OTP, PIN or full payment-card details. Where possible we will verify using information already associated with the account or request.

What happens next

We log the request, verify scope and identity, search relevant systems and respond within the time required by applicable law. Some information may need to be retained or withheld where a legal obligation, legal claim, third-party right, security requirement or other lawful exception applies. We will explain a refusal or limitation where the law requires an explanation.

Marketing objections and consent withdrawal

If you no longer want waitlist or marketing messages, use the unsubscribe/stop method in the communication or contact us directly. Withdrawal applies prospectively; it does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. We may retain a minimal suppression record so that your objection is respected in future campaigns.

Complaints

Please contact Last Dices first so we can investigate. South African data subjects may also complain to the Information Regulator. Where the GDPR applies, a person may also have the right to complain to the competent EU/EEA supervisory authority.
